Rebecca + Jordan 12.17.11

We are so excited to finally be able to share Rebecca and Jordan's December wedding! Thanks so much to Jon and Emily at Beaty Photography for letting us share their beautiful photos of this big day. This very sweet couple has come through a lot in their journey to the alter and they finally tied the knot with a traditional Catholic ceremony on December 17, 2011.

With a winter theme of snowflakes, white, and a pop of icy blue, the couple's vision of their wedding day came to life. We absolutely loved working with this couple, their families, and some amazing vendors (check out the full list below!)

We keep in touch with this couple and are so happy to hear about their new home and the addition of two puppies to their new little family!

Congratulations to Rebecca and Jordan Smith!
Thank you for letting us help you with your wonderful wedding day!

"First Look"

Such a fun bridal party!

Saint Boniface was the perfect host for their Catholic ceremony.

Their guests sent them off to the reception in style!

Just after the ceremony, just the new Mr. and Mrs.

So happy to be Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
This cake from Sweet Boutique was not only beautiful but delicious!
The couple's first dance as husband and wife.
Golden Corral provided the couple's favorite comfort foods.
Rebecca chose to honor her father's Puerto Rican roots with a Father,Daughter salsa.

Lisa at L Designs did a beautiful job with the flowers and decor.

Having a photobooth can give all your guests something fun to do if they aren't
big dancers.

Melissa and Donald's Wedding Day 7/29/11

We know we made you wait too long for these amazing images from Beaty Photography of Melissa and Donald's detail-filled wedding day. The wait has been worth it! We've got some of our favorites for you! Please enjoy and leave your comments!

The day started at The Bonneville House where the couple, their bridal party, and close family got ready.  Jon and Emily Beaty met everyone there for the couple's "first look" and bridal party portraits.

The bridal gown and gowns for the bridal party came from From This Day Forward in Farina, Illinois.
The groom's and groomsmen suits came from The Gamut in Fort Smith.
The adorable parasols used in the bridal party photos came from The Paper Lantern Store.

The bride's beautiful, vibrant bouquet was created by the talented ladies at Bamboo Orchid in Poteau, Oklahoma. Many of the personalized details you see in these photos were created by the bride's mother, Terri. She will soon be making these kinds of items for everyone! You can check out the blog here for her latest designs.

The bride and groom wanted a unique alternative to a unity candle.  They found a tradition from Belgium where each writes a letter to the other explaining why they fell in love with them.  The letters were put in a box along with a bottle of wine and two glasses.  The couple nails the box shut during the wedding ceremony.  If the couple comes to a difficult point in their marriage to where they think the only answer is to split, they will open the box, take the letter addressed to them and a glass of wine and read the letters in separate rooms.  If the couple never gets to a point in their relationship where they have to open this box, they will open it on their 25th anniversary.
We just LOVE this idea!  Especially with so many marriages ending in divorce these days, this is a great way to remind each other of the happiness, joy, and love they felt on their wedding day.

Instead of rice or bubbles, the couple designed ribbon sticks and paper birds (like paper airplanes) for their guests to throw and shake for their farewell walk.

The wedding ceremony and reception were both at Adelaide Ballroom in Fort Smith.  The amazing cupcakes and groom's cake were created by Harp's Bakery and were delicious!

This amazing wedding was designed and created by Melissa and her mother.  They have amazing talent and eye for details.  These details were captured perfectly by Jon and Emily Beaty.  If you want any more details or info about Melissa and Donald's wedding or their vendors, just let us know!
